United Women in Faith
The entire program and organization of United Women in Faith focuses on mission. Our mission initiatives include:
- Providing opportunities to grow spiritually
- Equipping women & girls to be leaders
- Providing transformative educational experiences
- Organizing for growth & flexibility
- Working for justice through service & advocacy
You can connect with UWF locally at Shavertown UMC in monthly meeting that include:
- Fellowship, friendship and support
- Group devotion and prayer partners
- Speakers
- Community outreach benefiting women, children and youth
- Reading Program
Our UWF Pricilla Circle meets on the third Tuesday of March, April, May, September, October and November at noon at the church. A picnic is held the third Tuesday in June; and a Christmas Party in December. All women are invited and welcomed to participate.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets to knit and crochet on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 PM in the lounge. Lessons are available. Everyone is welcome.
